I wish
I wish you were here
I wish I could touch you
I wish you could touch me
I wish we were in each others arms
There is nothing stronger than "we", together we change things
**********
He speaks to me
The wind covers my body
I feel him
Communion
**********
Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you
Where are you going to?
Do you know...?
Do you get
What you're hoping for
When you look behind you
There's no open door
What are you hoping for?
Do you know...?
Once we were standing still in time
Chasing the fantasies
That filled our minds
You knew how I loved you
But my spirit was free
Laughin' at the questions
That you once asked of me
Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you
Where are you going to?
Do you know...?
Now looking back at all we've planned
We let so many dreams
Just slip through our hands
Why must we wait so long
Before we'll see
How sad the answers
To those questions can be
Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you
Where are you going to?
Do you know...?
Do you get
What you're hoping for
When you look behind you
There's no open door
What are you hoping for?
Do you know...?
I can't take credit for that one, it' thanks to our lovely Diva Diana Ross that we have this inspirational song. She sang it as the theme from Mahogany.

They have been found
Nathalie (7) and Stacey (10) were found. Dead. Again. The police made a very meaningful statement: the question is who and how? I want to know why? Why are we this way? Why do we behave like this? Never ceases to shock me, human evil. I had so much faith in humanity...
Grandma is reducing her activity drastically. Before she used to go out to do the food shopping, the bank, post, restaurant but then she just stopped. She decided to stay at home however the house is 5 stories so she still had room to move. She would go down to the basement to get a bottle of wine, can of peas and go upstairs to the last floor to our quarters snooping around, making trouble but then she just stopped and stayed on her floor, ground floor. Once she would walk to the mailbox across the long hallway, she stopped doing that when the post decided to deliver mail only in the afternoon. And now she is usually in front of the tube. She needs some action and we're just the right people to create it for her. Watch out!

Go, baby, go!
My husband is a savage.
Tonight just before half-time in the France-Spain World Cup match he is in some m-o-o-d! Needless to say half-time was nonetheless very athletic. I love football. Ladies, you should all see the positive aspects of watching sports with your mate. A trip to the selected country, he gets rawdy and raunchy and you just happen to be there cheering louder than he is, "Go!" Ah, the table dancing and the beer dribbling down your chin. You can burp, fart and be yourself 24/7.
Well, score is 1-1 and the boys are active. hmmm those Spanish players are delightful to watch. BUT the team that wins this match must face Brazil in the quarter finals and that won't be pretty. Ronaldo, may have gained a bit of weight yet he is stealth enough to kick butt. Oh did you see Ribery from the French team he practically tore his way to the net.
Ghana was eliminated early this evening by Brazil. Sad, they make an excellent effort. That's not enough to win, the goals count. Life is like that sometimes, I don't need to win all the time. However, lately, I have been quite agitated and aggressive. Fed up. Fed up of people getting in my shit just for the hell of it. Step off!

Day & Night
When I'm tired I get rather aggressive. The other night someone, who shall remain nameless, made a snotty comment that I just wasn't in the mood for and so I bursted out with "what do you know?!" And well you can imagine...I become cranky and just nod off on you. However, I don't sleep for more than 6 hours usually and I have very busy days. Most days 10-12 hours of work work, then a couple of hours of discussion boards, blogs, etc. I eat, watch the World Cup FIFA Competition and flop.
There are times when I am downright pleasant, you'd think I want to become your love slave. No. I am friendly, not for hire. Is it my fault that I pay careful attention to people's needs, women's as well as men's and they all get the wrong idea. Gee, why can't anyone be nice these days, they automatically think I want something. False. I love to see people happy. And since I'm such a pragmatic person I sometimes go overboard and make the boys lose it. One time I was an business workshop with a fine group of gentlemen that dined at my table. Wishing to make their lives easier I bring the bottle of wine at the buffet table to ours and they raise their eyebrows saying "my aren't we attentive". Dude, I wanted to tell him, you're not the first and you won't be the last...I don't want to get in your pants. He is beautiful by the way. That was during lunch and then in the early evening the cocktail follows and we already had 2 glasses of wine with lunch. Champagne, prawns and he spreads his legs and stands in a soldier position yet relaxed as if to say, I'm enjoying this. But, then he interjects something about his wife as if he suddenly remembered that he had one as he fingered his wedding band. He didn't even know that my husband was standing right behind me.
To be continued...

Been a long time
Been a long time since we sat to chew the fat, you and me. Where have you been? Me? Ah nowhere special but I met a lot of interesting people I plan to explore. And you? I'm off to vacation soon. Don't ask me why I wrote that...
I was writing to a friend of mine, kindred spirit, and telling him how ridiculous it is that I could put off his e-mail for two weeks but if he had called by telephone I wouldn't have been able to put off communicating with him. Does e-mail and the Internet teach us avoidance?
I really enjoyed the Portugal-Netherlands match last night 1-0. Ronaldo is hot to trot and only 21, jail bait. Shucks, he had to bench most of the game because of an injury. I was so upset for the Aussie team who suffered a defeat by the Italian team 1-0 and that was during penalty, at the very end...they were so close. Tonight Switzerland-Ukraine...rather dull...
